Experience the roots of South-Tyrol
On our farm, you definitely feel the circle of nature: The awakening and the blossoming of the spring, the time of harvest in the summer, the variety of colours in autumn and the silence of the winter.
Farm guide
We are pleased to take you on a guiding tour through the barn and we would love to explain the working process on our farm. Of course, children can help with the work on our farm and with the feeding of the cows. After that, the fresh milk, homemade butter and yoghurt taste much better. To make your own dishes more sophisticated you are free to use the fresh herbs from our garden.
Our animals
Living together respectfully and in harmony with nature and animals is of great importance for us. On our small farm, on which each of the animals have a name, we keep about a dozen of cows, together with our calves, cats, rabbits and a guinea pig. The fodder for our cattle grows on meadows of 9 ha on 1,200 m. In the summer, the grass is normally cut two to three times. Furthermore, we cultivate a meadow on an alpine pasture and about 10 ha of forest. Owing to the fact that our animals are only fed without genetically modified fodder, and the cultivation of the meadows works without pesticides as well as free of mineral fertilizers, our milk has been awarded with the South-Tyrolean Quality Trade-Mark.
