Taisten – the sunny village

The panoramic plateau between mountain and valley lies among the meadows and forests. It is one of the sunniest villages in South-Tyrol and an ideal starting point for activities in the mountains, because of its central position in the Puster Valley. The Dolomites are right in front of you!

Our farm is an ideal starting point for a variety of hiking possibilities in Taisten and the Gsieser Valley throughout the whole year. The latter has become very popular for its many inviting alpine pastures. With the free Holidaypass, you will be around in full respect of the environment: take advantage of public transport departing every half hour directly in front of our farm.

The Castle of Welsperg

The glorious castle above Welsberg is the only castle of the Upper Puster Valley accessible for visitors. A visit can easily be combined with a walk on the ‘Castle-path Welsperg’ starting from the Landhof. The castle with its gardens is a scene often used for concerts and art exhibitions.

In the chapel from the late romantic era you can find weekly guides if you are interested in history.

The shopping city of Bruneck

One of the best free time activities for bad weather is shopping in Bruneck. The historical city centre is one of the most beautiful in South-Tyrol.

For water lovers

The outdoor swimming pool of Welsberg, which is just 1 km away from our farm, is a good place where to go in order to relax on a hot summer day.

The wellness oasis Cron4 in Reischach offers 5 different swimming pools and a 75-metre-long water slide in order to guarantee fun and relaxation for the whole family. You will also find 3,000 square metres of sauna facilities. Being our guest, you can get reduced entrance tickets on our farm.
